Welcome To Troop 432

Located in Anthem, Arizona about 30 miles north of Phoenix, the troop is open to all boys, ages 11-18 years, who live in the surrounding communities of Anthem, New River, Tramonto, and Phoenix.

Troop 432 was chartered in January 2003 by six scouts and their families. The troop is in the Thunderbird District of the Grand Canyon CouncilCurrently over 50 strong and growing, Troop 432 is heavily active in outdoors activities. Adventures include frequent Grand Canyon Hikes, camping, community service projects; multiple District and BSA sanctioned events including Emerald Bay and Philmont.

We continue to grow with the boy's best interest in mind.  New scouts may join at any time during the year by downloading the New Scout Information Packet and contacting the Scoutmaster.

Troop meetings are held weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm at Cross of Christ Church during the school year. Summer meeting dates and locations vary. We do not meet in July.

We are sponsored by the Knights of Columbus of St. Rose, and expect parents of scouts to volunteer in some capacity--as merit badge counselors, outing chaperones, serve on a committees, and/or help with fundraising. The success of the troop depends largely on the involvement of the parents and families!

Troop 432’s Committee and Adult Leadership are strong proponents of the BSA’s Aims and Methods of Scouting. Troop 432 encourages the patrol method during our weekly meetings and in the planning and structure of our monthly campouts.

Within My Power

I am not a Very Important Man, as importance is commonly rated.  I do not have great wealth, control a big business, or occupy a position of great honor or authority.

Yet, I may someday mold destiny.  For it is within my power to become the most important man in the world in the life of a boy.  And every boy is a potential atom bomb in human history.

All about me are boys.  They are the makers of history, the builders of tomorrow.  If I can have some part in guiding them up the trail of Scouting, on to the high road of noble character and constructive citizenship, I may prove to be the most important man in their lives, the most important man in my community.

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove.  But the world may be different, because I was important in the life of a boy.
